I try to get out to the Student Recreation Center on occasion, get my sweat on. Played raquetball, as usual. And as usual, I got pegged several times. Sometimes I think the ball just has it out for me. Stupid rubber bastard.

Going shopping at HyVee is such a bittersweet experience. I usually go just to get a few things. But cheese, milk and bread turns into a shopping cart full of groceries and one hell of a bill at the end. And to make matters worse, I chose the stupid mini cart, thinking it would keep my from buying a ton of food. Nope. Just made me be more creative in how I stacked things. Damn you HyVee.

My project for the day is a 50″ by 38″ collage, including hundreds of scraps of magazine paper and road atlas. So far, I’ve invested over 5 glue sticks, 8 Xacto blades, and my sanity in this monster. Its so large, I have to tape it to the wall to work on it. Took a break to illustrate my state of mind. Back to it…

Living in the mid-west often results in pretty nasty winters. This year has been quite mild, luckily. However, last night yielded quite the snow fall. And I had to walk to work. My pants are not pleased.
