These are the final two illustrations that are paired with other bird images. The entire series is an examination and critical analysis of birds. And the conclusion? I resent them. Birds are granted so much natural beauty including their vibrant colors, beautiful songs sung, the ability to fly, and the stunning nests they create. All this, and they have no idea what is considered artistic. To them, it is just natural. As an artist, I’ve devoted years to exploring my artistic avenues, trying to understand these things that come so naturally to these winged beauties. I resent them for making it look so easy.
